With its origin in Western Europe, mainly France, the Ash Burl AAA metallic is most often found at the tree trunk as opposed to underground. They are very popular in English style furniture. A large, clear and well figured ash burl is notoriously difficult to find. The size of the veneer ranges from large to small depending on the density and weak cluster of the burl respectively.
